J.T. The Brick

Weekdays 10:00am - 12:00pm

JT the Brick is a nationally syndicated sports talk radio host at Fox Sports Radio. His career in radio began as a caller to the Jim Rome Show in 1995 when he won the first “Smack-Off” caller contest. This spurred his desire to get into the radio industry. In 1998 he was hired by the Oakland Raiders and became the pre and post game host for their game day broadcasts. He has served in various broadcasting capacities since then including television sideline reporter TV host and is now entering his 19th season with the team. JT wrote his Memoir “The Handoff” in 2012 as a tribute to his former boss and mentor Andrew Ashwood who was diagnosed with terminal cancer and chose him to be his chemo partner. The book chronicles Andrew’s dignified fight and the life lessons that he handed off to JT before he passed away.
