TYPHOON RELIEF DAY with 96.5 KOIT
In the devastating wake of Typhoon Haiyan, that has affected millions throughout the country of the Philippines, Entercom San Francisco (96.5 KOIT, 102.9 KBLX, 95.7 The Game and 102.1/98.5 KFOX) are banding together with West Bay Pilipino Multi-Services Center, The Shops at Tanforan and the City of San Bruno to help the recovery efforts.
On Saturday, November 23rd from 8am to 5pm at the Shops at Tanforan in San Bruno, we invite the community to come and donate supplies and contributions to those devastated by Typhoon Haiyan and in desperate need of assistance. Drop off will be in the parking lot along El Camino Real and we will accept both walk-up and drive-thru donations.
All donations will be collected by the West Bay Pilipino Multi-Services Center who will be naming the Philippine Red Cross as the beneficiary of all relief goods and Simbahang Lingkod Bayan (Church in the Serivce of the Country), the relief organization Ateneo de Manila University, a sister organization of the University of San Francisco, as the beneficiary of your cash donations . Simbahlang Lingkod Bayan has access to disaster-hit areas that even goverment and the USAID has not entered yet, because of it's local, church-based network. Simbahlang Lingkod Bayan was in the middle of helping the poorest of the poor victims of the recent earthquake when Typhoon Haiyan hit. No contribution is too big or too small to help and we thank you for your generosity.

Details: During Saturday, November 23rd West Bay Pilipino Mult Service Center will accept donated relief goods such as those listed below, as well as cash donations. Please note that during this time West Bay Pilipino Multi Service is monitoring rescue and relief efforts in the Philippines due to the ports of entry to disaster areas are backlogged, therefore during this time, cash donations are preferred with 100% of the contributions collected going to the typhoon victims
