Matt Maiocco is synonymous with the San Francisco 49ers in the Bay Area, having covered the team since 1995.  He is currently Comcast SportsNet Bay Area’s 49ers Insider at Comcast SportsNet and previously served as the San Francisco 49ers beat reporter at Santa Rosa Press Democrat, Contra Costa Times, and Oakland Tribune.  Maiocco is a three-time Pro Football Writers of America award winner for game stories and features.

Matt Steinmetz
Matt Steinmetz has covered the NBA and Golden State Warriors in the Bay Area since 1996.  He is currently Comcast SportsNet’s NBA Insider and serves as the pre-game, halftime, and post-game analyst for Golden State Warriors television broadcasts.  In 2007, Steinmetz earned a Northern California Emmy Award for on-camera talent as part of the Warriors broadcast team and he previously worked as the Golden State Warriors beat writer for the Contra Costa Times, earning the Associated Press Sports Editors first-place award for Best News Story of 1997 for his reporting of the Latrell Sprewell-P.J. Carlesimo choking incident.

Brodie Brazil
Bay Area native Brodie Brazil is an award winning sports journalist who’s covered local sports since 2003.  He currently serves as Comcast SportsNet’s Rinkside Reporter for San Jose Sharks telecasts, as well as studio and field duties on Comcast SportsNet shows Pre & Postgame Live, SportsNet Central, and SportsNet Reports. Brazil is a six-time regional Emmy Award winner, with a total of 15 nominations for his work. He previously worked at KICU-TV in San Jose, hosting High School Sports Focus and Oakland A's pregame broadcasts.

Vic Tafur
Vic Tafur started reading the Sporting Green at age 5 and now is in his eighth year writing for it. He covers the Oakland Raiders and the NFL for the San Francisco Chronicle and also writes about boxing, basketball and baseball. Tafur has deep local roots. He went to elementary school in Hayward, high school in San Mateo and college at Cal-Berkeley. He still has posters of Jeff Leonard and Bernard King in his parents' garage but now the only team he roots for is the Sunday buffet team at the Emeryville Chevy's. Tafur covered the San Francisco 49ers, Golden State Warriors and Cal basketball team before chronicling the Tom Cable, Hue Jackson Dennis Allen era in Oakland. A big Steven Seagal fan, he takes on all Twitter gangsters.
