In advance of Stephen Curry’s official re-evaluation on Saturday, Warriors prez/GM Bob Myers joined “The Greg Papa Show” with Bonta Hill on Tuesday afternoon to share an informal update on the Baby-Faced Assassin.

“He’s coming along,” Myers said on 95.7 The Game. “He was out there shooting today a little bit. Shooting doesn’t mean you’re shooting full speed. He was doing some things.”

Curry has been out since March 23 with a Grade 2 MCL sprain in his left knee.

“Right now, he’s working on kind of what movements he can make,” Myers continued. “A lot of it’s change-of-direction stuff. But it’s not full speed right now. It’s more testing out, ‘Does that hurt? Can you do that at 50 percent? If you can, can you do it at 60?’

“So, it’s all a progression. I asked him last night how he’s feeling and he’s actually in really good spirits. I expected him to kind of be up and down. It’s hard watching your team play in the playoffs. That’s what he plays all year for and works hard for.”

“But he just left here, about five minutes ago, and he’s in a good place. Maybe it’s because he’s been through this with the other knee and knows that he’s going to come back and, obviously, hopefully help us if we can get through this series, but he’s doing everything — no setbacks.”

“I still don’t know exactly when he would return but right now he’s just focusing on getting better.”
