Bob Myers joined “The Greg Papa Show” with Bonta Hill on Thursday and discussed the Warriors’ quiet deadline day and the buyout season that is out on the horizon.

Already, the Warriors have been listed a potential frontrunner for Joe Johnson, who is expected to be bought out by the Kings. As the Warriors president of basketball ops/GM detailed, there are complications to any possible additions.

First, not every player who is reported as a buyout option actually gets of his respective deal. Second, the Warriors already have 15 players under contract, which means a current Warrior would have to be cut to clear room on the roster.

“We’ve done it before and we’ll certainly look at it again and see if it makes sense and if it does, we’ll do what we can,” Myers said on 95.7 The Game. “Whoever we would target would have to want to come.”

“So, it’s part of the league and whether we’re going to see a lot of guys do it — I know there’s speculation a lot will — but we’ll see once all this stuff does settle.”
